Hannover Messe 2024 – Demonstrator

Class.Ing ist ein Beratungs-, Software- und Dienstleistungsunternehmen im Bereich des klassifikationsbezogenen Produktdatenmanagements. Schwerpunkte sind die Prozess- und Datenoptimierung über ein gesamtes Unternehmen (Einkauf bis Vertrieb), elektronische Kataloge sowie Selektions- und Konfigurationslösungen. Im Bereich Digitaler Zwilling ist Class.Ing mit der Verwaltungsschale (ASS) und dem Digitalen Produktpass (DPP) auf dem neuesten Stand der Technik.

Die eigene Software Class.Room ermöglicht eine effiziente Bearbeitung, das Mapping von Klassifikationen und die Bereitstellung von Artikeldaten. Andere Systeme (von eProcurement bis MDM und PLM/PDM) werden ebenfalls unterstützt. Eine ECLASS Integration in SAP (Klassifikation, Merkmale) steht zur Verfügung.

Aktuell herrscht wieder einmal das „Henne-Ei-Problem“ vor: Auch für den Digitalen Zwilling in Form der Verwaltungsschale AAS muss eine kritische Masse erreicht werden. Somit fokussiert sich die Class.Ing auf der diesjährigen Hannover Messe 2024 auf die Erzeugung von guten, inhaltsvollen AAS. Was nicht heißt, dass die Verwendung der AAS kein Thema für uns ist.

Am Beispiel von aktuellen Sensorik-Produkten zeigen wir, wie aus einem physikalischen Produkt ein digitaler Zwilling AAS wird. Unter Verwendung von Stammdaten, Produktdaten, Mediendaten sowie allgemeiner Standards wie ECLASS und VDI 2770 generieren wir mit unserer Software AAS Verwaltungsschalen. Neben Build-to-Stock Produkten präsentieren wir auch Wege für Build-to-Configure Produkte, also Produkte, die ihre technischen Daten erst mit der Konfiguration erhalten.

Class.Ing is a consulting, software and service company in the field of classification-related product data management. The focus is on process and data optimization across an entire company (purchasing to sales), electronic catalogs as well as selection and configuration solutions. In the area of digital twins, Class.Ing is state-of-the-art with the administration shell (ASS) and the digital product passport (DPP 4.0).

The proprietary Class.Room software enables efficient processing, mapping of classifications and the provision of article data. Other systems (from eProcurement to MDM and PLM/PDM) are also supported. An ECLASS integration into SAP (classification, properties) is available.

Once again, the “chicken and egg problem” prevails: A critical mass must be achieved for Asset Administration Shells AAS digital twin for components. Class.Ing is therefore focusing on the production of excellent, content rich AAS at this year’s Hannover Messe 2024. That doesn’t mean that the use of AAS isn’t an issue for us.

Using current sensor products as an example, we show how a physical product becomes an AAS digital twin. Using master data, product data, media data, … in combination with the use of standards such as ECLASS and VDI 2770, we generate AAS with our software. In addition to build-to-stock products, we also present ways for build-to-configure products, i.e. products that only receive their technical data during configuration.
